We are ushering in a new era: the Climate Survival movement. With your purchase of our Hibiscus Print Hoodie, you will help young BIPOC leaders organize our communities to survive through initiatives that build self-determination, resilience and healing. This cozy, fleece fair-trade hoodie is a 50% cotton, 50% Ciclo polyester blend sewn in the Dominican Republic using fabric manufactured in the U.S.

🌱 Designed by a Climate Mobilization Project collaborator and local farmer-activist, the hoodie features a scan of a hibiscus blossom grown at Dogbane Movement Hub - where our collective struggle to survive crises has become a source of power. Dogbane is a place where hundreds of young leaders have rolled up our sleeves to begin building a new future, while tending plants that connect us to generations of struggle that came before. 🌱

🌺 Hibiscus grows throughout the Global South, from Latin America and the Caribbean, to Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Around the world, it’s used as a medicinal herb as well as a cooling summer drink. It’s an ingredient in agua de jamaica, sorrel, and more – teaching us that our struggles around the world are interconnected, and that healing is inseparable from gathering as a community and creating interdependence with the land that sustains us. 🌺

Your purchase supports Climate Mobilization Project’s National Climate Survival Incubator, which gathers young people nationwide to deepen survival initiations and build infrastructure and grassroots power around the country. All of these initiatives are focused on building up the resilience & self-determination of Black, Brown, and Indigenous working-class communities.
